CASABLANCA KIDS HONOURS LEGACY OF
SHARON, LOIS & BRAM WITH 1,2,3,4 LIVE! CD RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 4, 2016 (Toronto, ON) - A new generation of children will be able to sing "Skinnamarinky Dinky Dink" along with the re-release of Sharon, Lois & Bram's 1,2,3,4  LIVE! on CD by Elephant Records/Casablanca Kids. The release is slated for April 15, almost a year to the date that the group lost founding member Lois Lilienstein. To commemorate the release, surviving members Sharon Hampson and Bram Morrison will be performing a live concert on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the Oakville Centre, where 1,2,3,4 LIVE! was originally recorded.

Honouring the trio's legacy, the release is a live concert recording of Sharon, Lois & Bram that has never before been released on CD. The original vinyl release in 1982 went gold in Canada and received an American Library Association Award for Notable Children's Recording. The release includes a live version of their trademark song "Skinnamarink", which is currently featured in a worldwide television campaign for Bose Speakers.

Sharon, Lois & Bram are multi-award winning recording artists, selling millions of albums in North America since the Trio's start in 1978. Sharon Lois & Bram have received three Juno Awards for Best Children's Album and were nominated a further three times. They produced over 21 full-length catalogue recordings, numerous compilations, three songbooks and a CD ROM. They have performed thousands of concerts throughout North America, including at Ottawa's National Arts Centre; Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall;' New York's Palace Theater, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center; and at Washington, DC's Kennedy Center and the White House. In 2002, for their significant contributions to the development of children's music, the Trio were appointed to the Order of Canada. But to the many generations of families across North America that have shared their 38-year journey, Sharon, Lois & Bram will always be the music-makers who invite everyone, babies to grand folks, to be part of the music, to sing and be joyful together.
